International Crime Prevention Specialist (ICPS) Training and Testing
The International Society of Crime Prevention Practitioners (ISCPP) in cooperation with the Scottsdale Police Department will present a three-day International Crime Prevention Specialist (ICPS) Training – featuring the new 2016 curriculum – on April 4-6, 2016, that will culminate with the ISCPP’s ICPS Test. The training will be held at the Scottsdale Police Department’s Via Linda District classroom, 9065 E Via Linda, Scottsdale, AZ 85258.
The three-day Training will give attendees a solid foundation of crime prevention knowledge and the resources and network contacts to continue their study after the Training. It won’t make you an instant crime prevention expert – that takes years of study and fieldwork – but it will give you the basics and the resources so you can continue to learn and improve!
This training is open to anyone interested in learning more about crime prevention including crime prevention officers, crime prevention specialists, unit supervisors, volunteers, neighborhood watch coordinators, loss prevention managers and security professionals.
The cost of the training is $325 per person and includes 2 and ½ days of training, test fees, the new 300 page ICPS Crime Prevention Curriculum and a one-year membership per attendee to the ISCPP. Every attendee will receive a copy of the brand new 2016 ICPS Curriculum ($125 value) that includes chapters on 19 crime prevention topics and a one year membership to the ISCPP ($35 value).
