Bitcoin, Darknet and Prepaid Card Investigations

Technology is increasingly creating new challenges for law enforcement. Bitcoin, the darknet, and pre-paid access devices in particular can facilitate criminal activity in ways which require new investigative techniques. This course will provide investigators with an understanding of illegal activity using bitcoin, darknet, and prepaid access devices. It will also provide investigators with knowledge of investigative techniques and resources for cases involving the illegal use of bitcoin, darknet, and prepaid access devices. The course will be presented by agents and an experienced prosecutor with extensive experience in bitcoin, darknet, prepaid cards, and asset forfeiture.
